Alumni Meet at India-International Textile Machinery Exhibition (ITME), Delhi (NCR)
Textile Engineering department conducted Alumni Meet at India - International Textile Machinery Exhibition ( ITME) Noida Delhi (NCR) on 11/12/2022. Institute Progress and Development activities were shared with Alumni. Valuable suggestions were also shared by the alumni for upgradation of Textile Engineering Department and JDIET.

Research Project Grant of Rs. 1.9 lakhs from Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University under Rajiv Gandhi Science and Technology commission scheme to Dr. S. K. Soni
JDIET received the Research Project Grant of Rs. 1.9 lakhs from Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University under Rajiv Gandhi Science and Technology commission scheme for project proposal entitled "Design and Fabrication of Solar powered portable silk reeling machine" submitted by Dr. Sandip Soni. The distribution ceremony held at University premises on 16/11/2022.

Mr. Kunal Jotwani from Textile Engineering Department (Third Year 2017-18) has Completed one Month Internship in Research Project at Technical University of Liberec, Czech Republic during session 2017-18. Research Project: Preparation of Activated Carbon by Conventional and Microwave heating. Project Guide: Dr. Vijay Baheti Asst. Professer, Technical University of Liberec Czech republic. Duration of Project: 1 to 30 July 2018.

Student From Textile Engieering Department Attended the International Conference at Dubai, UAE
Ms. Priyanka Lokhande from Textile Engineering Department was attended the 19th international conference on Textile Engineering and fashion Technology, Dubai, UAE. The paper presentation topic is "The influence of chemical processing treatment on handle properties of worsted suiting fabric" on dated 25/09/2017.

International Conference at Bangkok, Thailand
Ms. Poonam Laddha from Textile Engineering Department (Final Year 2018-19) was attended the 9th RMUTP international conference on science, Technology and Innovation for sustainable Development, Bangkok, Thailand. The paper presentation topic is "Objective Hand Evaluation of Denim Fabric" on dated 21st & 22nd June 2018.

Dr. Ganesh S. Kakad from Textile Engineering department was attended the International Conference at Donghua University Songjiang Campus Shanghai , China. The Paper presented topic is "Structure- Property Interrelationship of Denim Yarn Produced Using Ring and Compact Spinning Technology" on dated 29 May 2010. Also he was attended the workshop on "Low Carbon Economy and Sustainable TC Industry" from 28 May to 30 May 2010 in the same conference.
