Department of Mechanical Engineering organized a 3-Days workshop and hands-on training program on CNC Lathe, CNC Milling, and Robotic Arms

The Department of Mechanical Engineering organized a 3-Days workshop and hands-on training program on CNC Lathe, CNC Milling, and Robotic Arms from 24 September 2025 to 26 September 2025. The objective of the workshop was to enhance the practical skills and technical competence of participants in advanced manufacturing and automation technologies. The program was attended by all faculty members of the department and 35 selected students, ensuring effective knowledge dissemination and skill development. The Workshop conducted by Expert Er. Nikhil Maral & Er.Umesh Khadke, CADMECH Pvt.Ltd. Pune. The training sessions included both theoretical inputs and extensive hands-on practice on CNC machines and robotic arm systems. Participants were trained in machine setup, programming fundamentals, tool selection, operation, safety practices, and basic troubleshooting. The workshop also emphasized the application of automation and robotics in modern manufacturing industries. The program strengthened the practical understanding of advanced manufacturing processes, promoted industry-relevant skill development, and encouraged the adoption of modern tools and technologies in teaching and learning practices. The workshop significantly contributed to the attainment of Program Outcomes related to modern tool usage, engineering knowledge, problem analysis, teamwork, and lifelong learning, and aligns with Outcome-Based Education (OBE)
