The Mechanical Engineering Department organized a Faculty Training Program (FTP) on “CATIA-V5: Industrial Applications” on 14th and 15th July 2025, in association with EDS Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Pune. The program aimed to enhance the faculty’s technical skills and practical knowledge in using CATIA-V5 for industrial design, modeling, and simulation. During the two-day training, faculty members received hands-on experience with various modules of CATIA-V5, including part design, assembly, drafting, and surface modeling, along with exposure to real-world industrial applications. The training facilitated the integration of advanced CAD tools into teaching, research, and curriculum development, thereby strengthening the department’s technical expertise and improving the quality of engineering education.

The central library of the institute is equipped with more than 50,000 books and various journals.

The institute has 2.95 lacks sq.ft. state of art, architectural infrastructure spread in 17 acre area.
