The Department Advisory Committee (DAC) Meet was organized by the Department of Mechanical Engineering on 15/11/2025 at 12:30 pm at the department premises. The meeting was conducted to review academic activities, assess departmental progress, and seek valuable guidance from external and internal stakeholders for continuous improvement.

The meeting was chaired by the Head of the Department and attended by DAC members, including senior faculty members, industry experts, academicians, alumni representatives, and management nominees. The Head of the Department presented an overview of the departmental vision, mission, academic performance, curriculum implementation, teaching–learning processes, laboratory facilities, research and consultancy activities, student achievements, training & placement activities, and co-curricular and extracurricular initiatives.

Key points discussed during the meet included curriculum relevance to industry needs, incorporation of emerging technologies, quality of student projects, industry–institute interaction, internships, skill development programs, and improvement in student learning outcomes. Suggestions and recommendations provided by DAC members focused on enhancing practical exposure, strengthening industry collaboration, promoting research culture, improving employability skills, and aligning departmental activities with Outcome-Based Education (OBE).

The central library of the institute is equipped with more than 50,000 books and various journals.

The institute has 2.95 lacks sq.ft. state of art, architectural infrastructure spread in 17 acre area.

Many faculties from various departments are nominated and working on the different renowned bodies of university and government.

More than 1000 students are placed through campus recruitment process in prominent industries in last 5 years.

Alumni of the institute are working in more than 26 countries throughout the world.

The institute has various functional Memorandum of Understanding (MOUs) with different industries, universities and premier institutions.

The institute is a recipient of the Department of Science and Technology (DST) of Govt. of India, AICTE, New Delhi MODROB and various Industrial grants for the research and development projects.

Awarded as a 'Top Private Engineering Institution' in India by seventh higher education, HR summit organized in association with Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA) and AICTE New Delhi, on dated 24th April 2018.

A grade institute as per the gradation of Director of Technical Education (DTE) government of Maharashtra.
