WELCOME! CHEMICAL ENGINEERING

Programme Educational Objective (PEO)

Fundamental Knowledge: Students of the program will be skilled in fundamental concept of chemical engineering and allied branches by developing strong background in applied sciences & chemical engineering.

Design & Experimental Skills: Students of the program will be prepared with skills of designing of chemical equipment, software skills & experimentation along with problems solving in the area of chemical engineering and allied branches.

Specialization: Students will be prepared to develop skills that are necessary for success in chemical industry by doing courses in chemical process designing, piping engineering, chemical software such as Chem CAD, Aspen Plus, Hysis or higher studies so that they can pursue their career in the field of chemical engineering and allied branches.

Professional Skills: The students will be prepared to enhance their communication skills, presentation skills, software skills, ability to work in a team an ethical value that are necessary to thrive in their career.

Self Learning: The students will be prepared to continue their professional development through continuing education at higher level so that they can adapt to ever changing technical environment.



Programme Outcome (PO)

To apply knowledge of mathematics, science, and engineering.

To design and conduct experiments, as well as to analyze and interpret data.

To design a system, component, or process to meet desired needs within realistic constraints such as economic, environmental, social, political, ethical, health and safety,  Manufacturability, and sustainability.

To function on multidisciplinary teams in chemical engineering and research.

To identify, formulate, and solve engineering problems.

To understand professional and ethical responsibility.

To communicate effectively.

To understand the impact of engineering solutions in a global, economic, environmental, and societal context.

To recognition of the need for, and an ability to engage in life-long learning.

To get knowledge of contemporary issues in chemical engineering and research.

To use the techniques, skills, and modern engineering tools necessary for engineering practice.

To give basic knowledge about chemical Engineering Software. (Chemcad Software)



Programme Specific Outcome (PSO)

Effectively communicate in a professional setting, including technical writing, oral presentations, and use of modern presentation technologies.

Identify a research question and design, conduct and evaluate a research investigation.

Stress global issues in research area e.g Environmental pollution control, renewable energy sources.
