Lecture on ‘Universal Human Values’ Conducted at JDIET

A special lecture on ‘Universal Human Values’ was organized for first-year engineering students at Jawaharlal Darda Institute of Engineering and Technology (JDIET), Yavatmal, with the objective of instilling ethical values and holistic thinking among students.

The session was conducted as part of the institute’s academic and value-based education initiatives. Renowned academician Dr. Sanjit Tatwawadi delivered the lecture and guided students on the importance of human values in personal, professional, and social life. He emphasized that technical knowledge must be complemented by moral values to build responsible and compassionate engineers.

During the lecture, Dr. Tatwawadi highlighted key aspects such as self-awareness, harmony in relationships, ethical decision-making, and social responsibility. He explained how universal human values play a vital role in shaping an individual’s character and contribute to sustainable societal development.

The program was attended by faculty members and coordinators, including the Dean of First Year Engineering and senior professors. Students actively participated in the interactive session and expressed keen interest in the subject.

College authorities appreciated the initiative and stated that such lectures help students develop a balanced outlook toward life while pursuing technical education. The session concluded with a vote of thanks to the speaker and organizers.
